Sea Turtles inhabit the tropical waters of Far Nth Queensland but as Chloe finds out, getting an up close and personal encounter isn’t as easy as one might think. She takes to the air with Pilot Paul Mills in the open cockpit Red Baron sea plane on a scenic flight hoping to spot some Turtles from the air.… Chloe then heads to Magnetic Island and out onto Horseshoe Bay’s seagrass beds on a Sea Kakak tour to catch a glimpse of a turtle in the wild and of course the magnificent views!

Our last stop is a guaranteed Turtle encounter at Townsville premier aquarium, Reef HQ. We meet Aquarist Nicholas Baker for a tour through the Reef HQ Turtle Hospital and meet “Torres” one of Reef HQ’s most popular residents.
