Danielle has been a dedicated member of the WIN NEWS team for two years.
In that time, she has reported on exclusive stories and major issues affecting the Illawarra including the so called ICAC Gong-gate Scandal, which uncovered years of corruption at Wollongong City Council.
Danielle told the story of two men who survived being stranded at sea for more than 48 hours and covered the emotional funeral of Commonwealth Games gold medallist and local mum Kerryn McCann.
Danielle is also part of the WIN NEWS presenting team, bringing sport and news updates to viewers in three different markets.
Since a very early age, Danielle has had a passion for letting people know what is affecting their lives and their community. She thinks neighbourly spirit and local matters are what builds communities.
Danielle started her career in the Central West after completing a Bachelor of Arts Journalism degree at Charles Sturt University. She was then employed at Prime News, where she became one of the youngest news readers while covering several high profile stories like the Police Integrity Commission hearing into the disappearance of Bathurst woman Janine Vaughan.
Danielle has also worked presenting radio news in various roles for National Radio News, Star FM and i98FM.
Danielle currently calls Wollongong home and enjoys spending time exercising and socialising outdoors, making the most of Australia’s natural wonders.
