Philippa, or Pip as she is affectionately known, is a qualified physiotherapist who has been working in the Perth media for over thirteen years.
Her career started in 1997 on Channel Seven as part of the team hosting a local football show called The Footy Show, before she was lucky enough to land a job in 1998 on a new production at Channel Nine called Postcards WA.
2009 marks the twelfth season Pip has been traveling the length and breadth of W.A. reporting on Postcards, and she continues to be astonished by the beauty of her home, and the incredible people that inhabit it.
Pip’s sporting background included playing state netball for over ten years, representing Western Australia in the National Netball League (now the ANZ trophy), being a Western Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder, running a Marathon, swimming to Rottnest and competing in a half Ironman.
Pip also works on other productions, and enjoys dabbling in other vocational spheres: she works on Just Add Water, has worked in radio, is a freelance writer for several publications, is an ambassador for the ‘Premiers Physical Activity Taskforce’, and is a much sought after MC.
When she is not working Pip can be found running around madly after her two young children, Gus and Penelope, and reveling in all the other challenges of parenting two young children.
