Channel 9 Postcards: South Australia

A member of tourism’s Hall of Fame, Postcards is a half hour tourism lifestyle television show produced by a small production team at Adelaide’s Channel Nine.

Since beginning in 1995, Postcards has grown to become the benchmark for travel and lifestyle programs. Its friendly relaxed format is now used in many programs in all states of Australia. In South Australia, we produce about 40 episodes of Postcards annually, along with a number of specials focussing on specific areas and attractions.

The Postcards team’s commitment to producing quality and informative television has generated a loyal and enthusiastic audience. We also put a lot of effort into keeping the stories on Postcards ‘accessible’. That means you don’t need to be an elite athlete to enjoy the attractions on the show!

As with all good TV shows, Postcards has it’s own Website. One of the first SA shows to go on-line, www.postcards-sa.com.au is now one of the state’s busiest Websites. Browse around - you’ll not only find loads of information about current and past Postcards stories, but heaps of information about what to do in South Australia.
